You can help us support our historic battle to obtain justice for the people of Cerro de Pasco, a Peruvian citizen affected by very serious environmental and health problems linked to the industrial mining activities that have poisoned the environment.
Last year we raised $ 500 during #Giving Tuesday, which we used to analyze some of the hair samples from children living in this mining town to assess their degree of exposure to contaminants. With the results in hand we exposed the problem to the Minister of Health of Peru denouncing the serious situation to which the population is subject.
Thanks to these data, the Government has issued the State of Health Emergency with concrete actions of environmental restoration and medical assistance.
The road ahead is long and tortuous, but only with the support of all of you can we do it!
